Post-Renovation Cleaning in Murfreesboro, TN

Get the dust out of every room the remodel touched — and the rooms it didn’t.

Spotless bathroom with a marble-look shower surround and gold fixtures cleaned by Purple Glow Services

A renovation differs from a new build in one important way: you were living in the house the whole time. The kitchen may be the only room that changed, but the dust went everywhere — into bedroom closets, along hallway baseboards, onto the top of a refrigerator two rooms away.

So a post-renovation clean has two jobs. The first is the work zone itself: fine dust off every surface, adhesive and caulk residue off new finishes, protective film off appliances and hardware, and the new tile, counters or flooring cleaned with something that won’t harm a finish only days old.

The second job is the rest of the house. We clean the rooms that were sealed off and the rooms that weren’t, because plastic sheeting never catches everything. Air vents, ceiling fans and light fixtures are cleaned too, so your HVAC stops redistributing renovation dust every time it kicks on.

We work in occupied homes across Murfreesboro, Smyrna, Nolensville and Brentwood, which means planning around the fact that you still have to live there. Tell us which rooms are back in use, which finishes are new and need care, and what the contractor left behind, and we’ll bring the house back together.

Questions

Post-Renovation Cleaning questions

How is this different from post-construction cleaning?

Post-construction is an empty building handed over at the end of a build. A post-renovation clean happens in a home you’re still living in — working around furniture, protecting finishes already in place, and cleaning rooms the renovation never touched but the dust did.

My contractor said they’d clean up. Do I still need this?

Contractor clean-up usually means debris removal and a rough sweep, which is a different job from making a room liveable again. If your contractor has already hauled everything out, say so when you request a quote — it changes the scope.

Can you clean around furniture we couldn’t move?

Yes, and we’d rather you told us in advance. We work around what stays and clean what we can reach; anything that needs two people to shift is easier if it’s discussed before the visit rather than during it.
